Astrologer Ray Grasse--Interview with Whitley Strieber

Astrologer Ray Grasse was interviewed by Whitley Strieber at the end of January 2005; the interview was only available to Unknown Country subscribers. Grasse’s astrological projections in the past have been very insightful and relatively free of personal bias. This is a brief summary of their discussion, which focuses on the coming year or two.

Grasse sees a coming upheaval relating to religion in the USA in 2005, as Uranus makes a hard angle (e.g., square or opposition--he didn’t specify) to the US natal chart Uranus. The times to watch, he said, will be the 1st to 10th of April, mid-June, and the end of August. He sees this centering on a conflict in the separation of church and state, and possibly scandal involving religious figures; he mentions almost a “civil war energy” being in play. Whitley discussed possible scandals that he is aware of involving religious and political figures, and brings up the “Finders” group of Washington, DC, which seems to have some very unsavory connections to child sex activities.

Grasse identifies the last 10 days of March 2005 as holding turbulent energies for the US and the world; likewise, he sees this for mid-July and the beginning of September, when he says we will see “secrets coming out.”

Giving a sort of rundown of the year, Grasse said he thinks we will make—or hear of—scientific breakthroughs in February, especially the 9th and 10th, and the period of 18-26 February, especially the 24th and 25th. He sees archaeological discoveries in February and March, particularly late March; also from the 10th to 20th of June, the last days of August, 10-16 October, and 13-17 November.

With regard to George W. Bush, Grasses definitely sees problems coming—either scandals or health problems, or both. From April 2005 through 2006 is a potentially accident-prone time for Bush, and hidden health problems may surface. He also sees him experiencing a great personal disappointment in June-July 2006, focusing on about the 4th of July next year.

Grasse feels there are parallels to the energies of the Viet Nam era, particularly with regard to the war in Iraq and the continuing loss of life there. Whitley mentioned his own family-related acquaintanceship with the Lyndon Johnson presidency, and its heartbreak over the deadly and seemingly (at the time) endless war.

Around mid-May, Grasse says, Mars will be making a hard angle with Uranus, which should evidence itself in upheavals around the world. This will also be true of the latter part of March and mid-June. He sees the world’s oceans and other bodies of water as the foci of earth changes, such as that being manifested in the quakes in the Indian Ocean.

A test of the Emergency Broadcast System

This was only a test. If it had been an actual emergency, you would have been told to put your head between your legs and kiss your arse goodbye. In which case you might want to seek help.

Or try to get the Tardis away from wherever you are now...
